Disneyland: The Trip of a Lifetime.

border thunder mountain roller coaster anahiem california little girl dressed up rapunzel princess favorite rideI’m so so so so so thankful for this experience. Not a day goes by that I don’t feel overwhelmed by the amazingness of that trip, the memories, the way it all fell together.

I don’t care how much it cost or if there were other ways we might have spent our time. Taking Dot to Disneyland at three-and-a-half was priceless. I get kinda sad that every kid doesn’t get that, but I get really sad that every parent doesn’t. It was that fantastic and enriching.

I’m so thankful our Disneyland trip was able to happen. I’m thankful it went smoothly. I’m thankful we were well and able. I’m thankful M was a cooperative and mellow little three-month-old. I’m thankful we can hold the hope of returning someday.

I’m thankful for the magic of it all.

This post is part of a month-long series detailing 25 Things I’m Thankful For.
